The EDDY Awards is an annual event to celebrate Duval County’s leading teachers. It is a time-honored tradition that has grown into its new mission to elevate the role of Jacksonville’s best teachers. Each year, the ceremony celebrate each school’s Teacher of the Year and announces the winner of the VyStar Duval County Teacher of the Year.
Volunteers are needed to help set up, work registration, and breakdown the event for the 2024 EDDY Awards to crown the Duval County Teacher of the Year. EDDYs is a formal gala so cocktail/ formal attire is encouraged. Volunteers usually pull out their fancy clothes, however we’ve had some opt for business professional as well.
